The meeting for Monday, March 4, will be "Why Mind-Body Fitness Works: Don't just WorkOUT, WorkIN!".
Special
guest speaker for the evening is Jenny Watkins, Wellness Director of Somerset
Family Fitness Center, who will discuss why mind-body fitness, such as Yoga and
Pilates, can make all the difference in achieving not only your weight-loss
goals, but total health and wellness.
“What burns
the most calories is not necessarily going to get you the body or the life you
want,” explained Watkins. In addition to
the discussion, the program will include demonstration of Yoga and Pilates and the
opportunity for attendees to participate.
Please make plans to attend each Monday evening. Weigh-ins will begin at 4:45 pm with the program following at 5:30 pm in the Conference Centers on the basement level of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
