The meeting for Monday, January 13, will be "The Obesity Epidemic - Any hope?".

Mobley, M.D., bariatric surgeon, will be the first speaker of the series. His presentation,
“The Obesity Epidemic – Any Hope?” will provide important information for POP
participants to help them get off to a good start on their journey to a
healthier lifestyle and a lower body weight.
The program will begin at 6:00 p.m.
A Laurel County native, Dr.
Mobley received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of
Medicine. He completed his internship
and a residency in general surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Dr.
Mobley is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of
the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and of the American
College of Surgeons.
