Tuesday, January 8 for The Chamber of Commerce noon luncheon* and the POP kick-off speaker, John C. Mobley, M.D.
Private POP weigh-ins will be from
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at The Center
*Luncheon is $12 per person. Lunch is optional.
A Laurel County native, Dr. Mobley attended the University of the Cumberlands. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
Dr. Mobley specializes in laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding and sleeve gastrectomies, as well as band adjustments. He has performed more than 600 gastric banding procedures. He is also a Lap-Band® patient — having successfully lost 110 pounds which he has kept off for more than six years.
Dr. Mobley is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He and his wife Tammy, and their five children now live Somerset.
