By popular demand and in order to continue providing support
to our POP family, we will continue to offer weigh-ins for those who want to
participate. They will be held on the FIRST MONDAY each month from 5:00 –
6:00 p.m. on the basement level of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. We
will also continue providing healthy hints, recipes, and other support
materials ongoing.
Remember, if you participate in any of the Journey to
Fitness races, be sure to sign up on the POP Team! If you complete at
least 3 races, we will provide you a handy-dandy POP T-Shirt for your efforts.

Points opportunity this weekend!
Don't miss this great POP Points opportunity!
POP participants can earn points for participating in run/walk events through the LCRH Journey to Fitness race series during the 12 weeks of POP. Be sure to put your team name as "POP" on your registration form!
The 3rd Annual Somerset Junior Women's Club "Snowshoe Shuffle 5K Run/Walk" is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, 2017.
The second race in the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, “Journey to Fitness” race series will be on the main campus of Somerset Community College (808 Monticello Street, Somerset, KY 42501). One half of the proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association while the other half goes to support other Somerset Junior Woman's Club community projects. All ages and abilities are welcome. There is on-site registration on race day beginning at 9:00am EST. To register online, please go to www.LCRHJourneyToFitness.com. This event is in memory of Patricia (Trish) Williams Hicks, an avid runner who passed away from heart disease.
Activities will begin at 10:00am EST.
