We want to keep you safe! Due to the treacherous road and weather conditions, we are canceling Pounds Off Pulaski tonight.
If you are already in town and are eager to weigh in, please feel free to come to the basement of the hospital between 4:30 and 5:30 to weigh.
We will continue with our regular programming next week. See you then!

Monday's Meeting - LOCATION CHANGE
Cancer Treatment Center - New
location for this week’s POP meeting
Due to
a water leak near the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Conference Centers, we
must change the location for the Monday, January 18 meeting.
We will
have our weigh-ins, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and the program following at 6:00
p.m. in the Community Room at the Lake Cumberland Cancer Treatment Center, located
at 112 Tradepark Drive, at light #8, behind Ashley Furniture.
The
January 25 meeting will move back to the hospital.
This
week’s program features one of our POP community partners, J. R. Smith, medical
exercise specialist and owner of Fit Maxx Functional Fitness and The Wellness
Clinic. J.R.’s presentation will be "How to be an 8
Percenter."
Psychology
Today reported
that, of all those that attempt to make a lifestyle change for New Year's
Resolutions, 92% of them fail. But, J.R. is going to explore with us what the
remaining 8% did to make their transformation successful. He declares
that, with a simple, yet wise approach, you can make your New Year's Resolution
one that will keep you successful all year long and put you in the 8% Success
Group.
I know
you will enjoy this great program!
Be sure
to keep on exercising . . . and getting your trackers filled out. And,
just as Dr. Mobley said, don’t get discouraged if you slip up a bit. Just
start all over again.
This is
going to be a GREAT week for weight loss! We’ll look forward to seeing you at
the Lake Cumberland Cancer Treatment Center on Monday evening!
Hope
you have a terrific weekend! J
