Don't Forget Monday's Meeting!

The meeting for Monday, March 18, will be  "Unconventional Home Gym".

When trying to lose weight, we have learned that there are three keys: managing your food intake/nutrition; changing your behavior in regard to food; and exercise, exercise, exercise.

The Pounds Off Pulaski (POP) meeting for Monday, March 18 meeting will focus on exercise.  Patricia Burton, Lake Cumberland District Health Department Health Educator III, will give helpful hints on exercising in your own home.

Some people are concerned because they can’t afford a gym membership or they may feel their neighborhoods are safe for walking, jogging, or biking.  Monday’s “Unconventional Home Gym” program teaches you how to exercise in your own home, utilizing common household items.  This fun, interactive presentation will prepare attendees to get creative in becoming more fit.

Please make plans to attend each Monday evening.  Weigh-ins will begin at 4:45 pm with the program following at 5:30 pm in the Conference Centers on the basement level of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
